just a thought

 What is probably my last year here has started.

ข้าราชการเปลี่ยนสภาพ

ที่ทำงานเรียกฉันอย่างนั้น

เป็น mutant ชนิดหนึ่ง

ต่อสัญญาให้ฟรี ๆ มาสามครั้ง

สัญญาที่สาม กำลังจะสิ้นสุดลง

ถ้าไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลง ตำแหน่งทางวิชาการ

ก็จะกลายเป็น ข้าราชการบำนาญ

That's why I'm easy

I thought this new semester is going to be "easy as Monday morning", with me taking leave last academic year, which means no teaching for a long time, on line or not. But then I got messages from a new batch of undergrad semanticists welcoming me back from my sabbatical year. My God always has creative ways of cheering me up!
